NerdSync Terms of Service

Welcome to NerdSync. By creating an account or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use NerdSync. By signing up, you represent that you are 18+ and legally able to enter into a binding contract.

2. Your account

You are responsible for your account activity, for keeping your password secure, and for the accuracy of the information you provide. You may not impersonate another person, create multiple accounts to evade bans, or share your account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, stalk, or abuse other users
• Post or send content that is hateful, sexually explicit toward anyone who has not consented, violent, or illegal
• Share other users' private information without permission
• Upload content you do not own the rights to
• Solicit money, sell services, advertise, or spam other users
• Attempt to scrape, reverse engineer, or disrupt the App
• Use NerdSync for commercial dating, escort, or adult services
• Use bots, scripts, or fake accounts

We may suspend or permanently ban your account, with or without notice, for any violation.

4. Content you post

You keep ownership of photos, messages, and other content you upload. By uploading, you grant NerdSync a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate the App. You are solely responsible for the content you post.

5. Subscriptions and payments

NerdSync offers optional paid subscriptions (NerdSync Plus and NerdSync Pro). Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play, not by us directly.

• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before renewal.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your device's App Store or Play Store account settings. Uninstalling the App does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their policies. We cannot issue refunds directly for store-purchased subscriptions.
• Prices and features may change. We will give reasonable notice of material changes.

6. Safety and verification

We offer selfie and government ID verification to help build trust on the platform. Verification is voluntary but improves your trust score. We do not guarantee the identity or intentions of any other user. Meet in public, trust your instincts, and report anything concerning.

7. User interactions are at your own risk

NerdSync is a platform for introductions. We do not screen, background check, or vouch for any user. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users, both on and off the App. To the maximum extent allowed by law, NerdSync is not liable for any dispute, injury, or loss arising from user interactions.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time in Settings or at our deletion page. We may suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, creates safety risks, or is inactive for an extended period.

9. Disclaimers

NerdSync is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding reliability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. Use at your own risk.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NerdSync, its officers, and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US $100.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which NerdSync is headquartered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis, except you may bring claims in small claims court. You and NerdSync waive any right to a jury trial or class action.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post changes here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
